Teenagers starting to babysit, have to learn to be responsible and knowledgable about children and caring.

On day 1 of our babysitting course, students learn about the different developmental stages children go through, to help them understand the needs of children of different ages, how to keep a child safe, and how to care, entertain and play with an infant and child.

Day 2 of the course covers basic first aid and life-saving skills, including how to recognise choking, CPR, how to react if a child has a seizure and how to take of basic wounds and bleeding.

The course fee is CHF 180 per student and includes a babysitting, first aid and activity folder, a small first aid kit and a babysitting bag.

Practical and written assessments will take place during the course.

This course is recommended for students between 12 and 16 years of age but older teenagers may also join.
